Hop Into Spring With Us!

Mother's Day Truck Convoy blog
As we spring into the lovely season spring, there are so many things to look forward to. With spring comes blooming flowers, buzzing bees, egg shaped chocolates, dying eggs colorful colors, and warmer weather. With the sweet greeting of spring bringing us warmer weather, opportunities for outdoor fundraisers are presenting themselves!

With the Mother's Day Truck Convoy around the corner and a holiday quickly approaching, there couldn't be a better time to host a fundraiser!

What has excitement, chocolates, eggs, fun for all, and is for a good cause? That's right, you guessed it! An Easter Egg Hunt fundraiser, whose proceeds go towards the Mother's Day Truck Convoy! An Easter Egg Hunt Fundraiser isn't just enjoyable for your kiddos but for all who attend, no matter what the age! Here are some ideas and things to do for your Easter Egg Hunt themed fundraiser!

  1. Easter Egg Hunt: Having an Easter at hunt at will keep those kiddos entertained. You can coordinate with other families that plan on attending and have each family bring a certain number of stuffed Easter Egg. Splitting up the work load is helpful and gets more individuals involved!
  2. Location: With the weather getting nicer, it's the perfect time to take a trip to your local park. Parks are the perfect location for your Easter Egg Hunt fundraiser! If you can't make it to a local park, backyards work great as well! Let's be honest, kiddos don't care much about the location, just that they're having fun!
  3. Food: We can't deny that food is very important at fundraisers and sometimes it's even the reason some people attend! With Easter Egg hunts typically being in the early morning and afternoon time, brunch food is the perfect "go-to"! Partnerships can be so important; You can partner with a local donut shop or your nearest Dunkin Donuts or bagel shop. If this isn't possible, you can coordinate with families attending and have each family bring a box of donuts or a crowd favorite, munchkins! Working with a bagel shop is also a good way to go, as a way to give another good option to those individuals who don't have a sweet tooth and are attending your fundraiser.
  4. Easter Bunny Picture: Is it an Easter Egg hunt without a picture with the Easter Bunny to prove it? Have a friend or family member help you out by dressing up as the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny would get those kiddos excited and take pictures with them. This is another way to increase the amount you make, by selling the pictures for $0.50 or a $1.00. Think of all that extra money you can raise or such a good cause by doing this!
Remember our 28th annual Mother's Day Truck Convoy is only 47 days away so you still have time to sign up, fundraise and get involved! Join us May 14, 2017 at Burle Business Park!
