Lansdale, PA – Employees from Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms recently gathered at their annual holiday luncheon to present a generous $100,000 check to Make-A-Wish® Philadelphia, Northern Delaware & Susquehanna Valley, the area’s largest wish-granting organization serving seriously ill children. This amazing gift is a result of the 9th Annual Charity Golf Outing organized by Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms that was held this past October at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham, PA. Since 2006, Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms and Make-A-Wish have partnered to fulfill local children’s wishes. Over $655,000 has been donated by the Dairy since that time fulfilling wishes for local children ranging from trips to the Florida theme parks and Hawaii, to shopping sprees, computers, room makeovers, and even the opportunity to play drums with a teen’s favorite band. “Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms is a tremendous partner in making wishes come true. Each year a dedicated team of employees volunteer their time to organize a first-class golf outing. The success of the outing is a testament to their hard work and compassion for helping children less fortunate,” stated Dennis J. Heron, President and CEO Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Northern Delaware & Susquehanna Valley.
