Phi Lambda Chapter of Chi Omega Hosts DipSync Event April 2 at Franklin & Marshall College to Raise Funds for Make-A-Wish®

Lancaster, PA – The Phi Lambda Chi Omega chapter at Franklin & Marshall College will hold its popular DipSync Event on April 2, 2015 to benefit Make-A-Wish® Philadelphia, Northern Delaware & Susquehanna Valley.  DipSync is the most attended event on campus and is a lip-syncing competition among students, faculty and friends to raise money for Make-A-Wish.  This year’s event will be held at Mayser Auditorium on the Franklin & Marshall campus.  The event starts at 7:00 p.m., but get there at 6:30 bid on great auction items such as a Tory Burch tote bag, pieces from the Stella & Dot collection and a scuba diving package to name a few.  Admission to the event is $5 and open to the public.

Leading up to the event Chi Omega is raising funds for Make-A-Wish through a “whipped cream pie in the face” contest and will collect online donations at:'s-Dreams---.htm

“Chi Omega and its members are always thrilled to help Make-A-Wish fulfill its mission,” said Allie Rubin, Chi Omega officer. “The funds we raise will help grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions in the Lancaster area.”

Chi Omega, the world’s largest women’s fraternal organization, selected Make-A-Wish as its national charity in 2002. Since then, the organization has contributed more than 430,000 volunteer hours and raised more than $6.8 million to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

“We truly value our alliance with Chi Omega,” said Dennis J. Heron, President & CEO. “The organization’s enthusiasm for volunteer efforts and fundraising really helps us delight wish kids and their families while they’re facing some very challenging times. Chi Omega members help make our mission possible.”
