Lansdale, PA – Employees from Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms recently gathered at a holiday luncheon to present a generous $82,861 check to Make-A-Wish Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley. This amazing donation is a result of the 7th Annual Charity Golf Outing organized by Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms that was held this past October at Commonwealth National Golf Club in Horsham, PA. Since 2006, Lehigh Valley Dairy Farms and Make-A-Wish have partnered to fulfill local children’s wishes. Over $455,000 has been donated by the Dairy since that time fulfilling wishes for local children who have life-threatening medical conditions, those wishes range from trips to Florida, the Bahamas, to shopping sprees, computers, room makeovers, and the opportunity to meet Paul McCartney among other wishes. “Make-A-Wish is deeply grateful for Lehigh Valley Dairy’s loyal and generous support. Their employees go above and beyond to ensure they raise an increased amount each year. This is a tremendous accomplishment given the difficult economic times we live in,” stated Dennis J. Heron, President and CEO Make-A-Wish.
