CheapCaribbean.com has been a Make-A-Wish sponsor since 2012. In that time they have contributed over $100,000 and helped to provide primer travel for our wish kids. This year, CheapCaribbean.com has proved to have super-star fundraising abilities. CheapCaribbean’s Doylestown office fundraised $5,000 for our 5th Annual Walk-for-Wishes, but has already surpassed that mark this year! With only a few days left, CheapCaribbean’s staff is working hard to accomplish a goal of $10,000 for our 6th Annual Walk-for-Wishes! The team is even starting to plan ways to grow for next year’s walk!
Lauren Hohmann of CheapCaribbean’s processing department remarks on where the team’s fundraising strength comes from, “CheapCaribbean was able to do this because we have amazing colleagues. It helps that we have had a partnership with Make-A-Wish for the past few years; that has allowed us to become personally and emotionally invested in Make-A-Wish’s initiatives.”
This year CheapCaribbean has hosted several creative fundraising events. The team has held raffles, auctions, and a pancake breakfast! This past week, our CheapCaribbean team went above and beyond in their efforts to reach their fundraising goal.
The team held a Dress Dan fundraiser where staff fundraised to give CEO, Dan Inch a makeover. Dan very graciously supported a full body makeover in reward of his staff’s hard work! Dan looked dashing in his hair, make-up, and blue dress! What a good sport, thanks Dan!
We are so excited to spend another Walk-for-Wishes with CheapCaribbean. The team plans on hosting a beach themed tent at our upcoming Philadelphia Walk-for-Wishes and we are so excited to see what CheapCaribbean does in our last few days before walk!
