Blue Bell, PA…Make-A-Wish® Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley is pleased to announce that De Lage Landen Financial Services, a global provider of asset-based financing solutions raised $250,000 for Make-A-Wish during their 11th Annual Charity Golf Outing this September.

“De Lage Landen’s support over the past eleven years has made a major impact on our chapter, enabling us to help hundreds of children and their families,” says Dennis J. Heron, President and CEO of Make-A-Wish.  “Today the business world is pre-occupied with running operations, but De Lage Landen never fails to help ensure that local sick children are supported through their annual fundraiser.  Their employees, vendors and supporters go well above and beyond to make this amazing day happen.”

Since its inception in 2003, the De Lage Landen Charity Golf Outing event has generated over $2.7 million for Make-A-Wish in support of wishes for 377 local sick children.  Make-A-Wish Philadelphia & Susquehanna Valley is the area’s largest wish-granting organization serving local community children with life-threatening medical conditions.

“We look forward to this event every year as a great way to bring together members, customers, and suppliers in support of a very deserving cause,” said Bill Stephenson, Chairman, Global Vendor Finance, De Lage Landen Financial Services. “Anyone who heard our wish recipient’s story or had the chance to meet her and her family can appreciate the real meaning behind the outing.”

Make-A-Wish and De Lage Landen are proud to collaborate in helping children whose lives have been turned upside down by painful medical treatments and depression with a wish that brings excitement, happiness, and hope for the future.
